I think someone may have to come and pick me up from the floor as I have literally been bowled over by the number of really wonderful entries we have received to the first ever FSF!
You never really know how these things will go when you launch something new like this, but you guys have surpassed our expectations and made us very happy. So a big thank you to all of you who took the time to submit your recipes, you’re such a clever lot!
Before I embark on the mammoth task of putting together the round up, I must just remind you all that there is a prize for the winning recipe this month and I am delighted to announce that our first ever guest judge is Matt Edwards.
Matt opened his first restaurant – Master & Servant (@servantfood) – based in Hoxton Square in London in March this year. Inspired by the Manhattan restaurant scene, the food is seasonal focusing on their charcoal grill and also includes their own smoked meats and charcuterie. Matt reached the semi final of Masterchef in Season 6 and has since worked in a number of top restaurants including Quo Vadis & Fino to name a few. I know he will pick a worthy winner with all his experience and love of seasonality!
